About Us

The leading sheet metal fabricators in Pennsylvania and the tri-state area.

Our History

Corry Fabrication was originally incorporated in 1979 by William Kafferlin and other local investors when they purchased the Corry Jamestown division from HON Industries. The division they purchased operated as a sheet metal fabrication plant for Corry Jamestown to provide contract manufacturing sheet metal parts. However, the company quickly found a niche market for the sheet metal parts with our extensive custom tooling and our diversity. Over time, we expanded our services to include many industries, including defense fabrication, consumer electronics, power generation, power distribution, power backup, audio/video, and gas/oil extraction, and rail/mass transportation.

In 2019, Corry Contract Inc celebrated its 40th year in business and the family-owned business was looking for a way to take the company to the next level. What started as a lean process initiative and looking for ways to improve efficiencies with an outside consultant’s help led the current management team to want more freedom to change the culture of the company. The consultant team decided that the challenges here were fascinating made the decision to go through with an asset purchase. This Asset Purchase was completed on June 19, 2020, and the new company is now Corry Fabrication LLC.

Today, Corry Fabrication LLC’s focus has been on the tools and systems that form the framework of the lean philosophy to systemically streamline our work processes, ultimately leading to greater efficiency, decreased costs, and faster production times. Organizationally, a change-agent atmosphere has had the effect of pulling the employees together to become the employer of choice in the region.
